While our site is under construction, we want tell you a little about ourselves and our projects.
The official mission of Vbrag is to help organizations of all types recognize, brag about, reward, and ultimately reengage their employees, members, volunteers, partners, vendors, and customers while experiencing significant cost savings and increasing returns by utilizing our unique and virtual online products and services.
What does that mean? Well, it’s pretty simple. We want to make your job more rewarding on a daily basis. We want your “ok” or “not-so-ok” boss to be a great boss. We want employees to love going to work. We want volunteers to feel fantastic about helping others and hopefully make them feel so appreciated that they want to help even more. We want coaches and players to show off their skills and their wins. We want to improve vendor-customer-partner relationships.
Basically, we want the world to be a happier place. Crazy dream? Lofty goal? Perhaps! But, we’re up for the challenge.
Who are we? We are four young professionals who have been (or are!) in jobs that are less than fulfilling. We know what it’s like to start a job with all the enthusiasm in the world. To feel like we’re part of a team, only to have that team disintegrate before our eyes because of poor management or coworkers quitting because they weren’t feeling the love. Once that happens, work is no fun. Sure, you still put in the hours and meet all your deadlines, but is it fun? Probably not. We think it should be. We think it WILL be!
Just give us a few weeks and we’ll give you a glimpse of how things can be better.
We are a small fledgling company, a startup, in Austin, Texas. We are working every spare minute to wrap our minds around this intriguing idea and are pouring all our energy into seeing Vbrag come to life. We hope you’ll stick around and watch it unfold as well. We’ll post info on our blog and tweet some of the highlights, so check back often to see what’s developing and follow us @vbrag. We also have a facebook page (vbrag) where you can hear the scoop and join discussions about employee engagement, working environments, reward systems, and other topics.
